My name is Barry Davis and I'm glad you've come to join us on our journey. This website is dedicated to helping others experience the art of becoming more and more like Jesus Christ. Whether you are a spiritual seeker gathering information for your quest or a seasoned veteran of the Christian faith, you are welcome here. Many of the articles, devotionals, and Bible studies you'll find here are written by me, although I have included numerous materials written by others that I have deemed valuable. As a pastor and former skeptic I've been on both sides of the fence when it comes to the Christian faith and understand the importance of addressing issues in a way that is relevant to your everyday life.

The Bible gives us a great promise upon which this website is based:

People who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means...But we can understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ. - 1 Corinthians 2:14,16b (NLT)

The great news is that we can have the mind of Jesus Christ! Of course, to have His mind means that we must begin to think, act, and react like Jesus Himself. The best way to do that is to study what He has revealed to us in the Word of God, accept what He teaches into our hearts, and begin to live out His truth in our daily experience.
